Telephones

Land based telephone services by TTCL are available in all districts of the region. In Mbinga district TTCL has 600 lines while in Tunduru TTCL has 310 lines. For Songea Urban TTCL provides 2,605 land based telephone lines

 

Cellular telephone services are provided by the following networks as by 2004.

Songea urban: TIGO, Vodacom, Celtel and Zantel

Songea Rural: TIGO, Vodacom, celtel and Zantel

Natumbo: TIGO

Mbinga: TIGO, Celtel, Vodacom and Zantel
